Mudslingers hosts shows from Fall through Spring, typically one per month. See the provided schedule for exact dates.
- One-Day Show: $67 for members, $79 for non-members (includes grounds fee). Jackpots are $5 and optional; there are 2 jackpots per 1- day show.
- Two-Day Show: $141 for members, $167 for non-members (includes grounds fee). Jackpots are $5 and optional; there are 2 jackpots per 2- day show.
- Day Awards: First through fifth place in each division receives awards. Two-day shows award through fifth place, with belt buckles for first place.
- Year-End Awards: Cumulative awards are given based on points earned throughout the season. Riders must be members, compete in at least 60% of shows, and volunteer two shifts per show to be eligible.
- AAA: Experienced riders competing at a high level.
- AA: Intermediate riders with strong skills.
- A: Intermediate riders developing their skills.
- FC (Future Champion): Riders new to competition or those choosing a less competitive division.
- Leadline: Riders of any age who require assistance and are led through the course.
Yes, each show features multiple events (6 for one-day shows, 13 for two-day shows), and you can compete in all of them within your chosen division.
A horse may only be ridden by one rider during a show, with the
following exception:
- A horse may be ridden by a rider in a regular division and a different rider in the
Leadline division.
The concession stand is open sometimes. However, the location of our shows is close to many restaurants and stores within driving, DoorDash, GrubHub, InstaCart, PostMates, and UberEats distance.
Yes, the arena has bleachers. Alternatively, you’re welcome to bring your own chairs and place them along the arena fencing.
Spectators are welcome to watch at no charge.
Contact the website to sign up for volunteer shifts. Each rider (or a family member on their behalf) must volunteer for two shifts per show to be eligible for year-end awards.
- Discounted show entries: Members pay lower fees for each show.
- Year-end award eligibility: Only members can qualify for year-end awards.
To qualify for Year-End awards, you must:
- Ride in at least 60% of the season’s club shows
- Be a Mudslingers member
- Volunteer for two shifts per show. Each shift is half a pattern.
