Board Updates
We are sad to share that Christine Benton has resigned from the Mudslingers board. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has brought to the board and to Mudslingers. Her care, thoughtfulness, and leadership have meant so much, and she will truly be missed.
Message from Christine:
Hi Mudslingers,
This week I resigned from the board, and the board graciously accepted my resignation, with some sadness among us all.
I’m leaving simply because I need to clear up time to make room for an expanding role at work. I could foresee my availability to the club shrinking, and I wanted to reset expectations about what I could/couldn’t do now so I didn’t drop the ball at some important moment later in the season.
Like you, I have total confidence in the board and the broader Fair Show committee to produce an incredible rest of the season. I’ve done what I can to create transition materials, Fair Show plans, etc., but I’m sure the board could use extra support (we could even if I didn’t resign), so please reach out and see where you might be able to help if you feel so inspired.
I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to serve on the board, which I’ve done on and off ever since I was first voluntold I’d be a board member when we started the Mudslingers many years ago! Thank you for giving me this opportunity to grow with you and to be of service.

Equipment & Arena Updates
We’re excited to share that the club has purchased a dedicated set of speakers! A big thank you to Mark Watson for generously letting us borrow his speakers until ours arrive — we truly appreciate your support!
Remaining Show Dates for the 2025–2026 Season
Our season is halfway complete, and we’d love to see everyone at our remaining shows! The board will also be calculating mid-year standings for end-of-season awards — stay tuned for more information.

A Quick Parking Reminder
To help keep our riders and horses safe, please remember:
No parking in the center row/trailer area — this space is reserved for horse trailers ONLY.
All cars must be parked along the back fence in the main parking lot and in the lot next to CRC’s cow pastures.
If you are parked in the center row, you will be asked to move. In addition to loudspeaker announcements, we will be placing red “parking tickets” on vehicles. If you see one on your car, please move to the appropriate parking area. Please share parking regulations with ALL guests joining you on show days. Riders are responsible for their guests.
