Happy New Year, Mudslingers! It was great to see everyone back in the arena.
The board met on January 30 and, in addition to going over regular club business, we’ve started to turn our attention to the Summer Showdown @ The San Diego County Fair. This week, the Summer Showdown leads will be meeting to present their plans for the event, where we hope to co-create some magical and memorable experiences.
Equipment Updates
We have some great news regarding our club equipment! We sold our old equipment trailer and have moved into our new one, which gives us more usable space.
A huge thank you to Jay Whyte for installing custom shelving. It’s keeping everything incredibly organized. It’s a game-changer for our set-up crews and judges!
Additionally, we’re in the process of purchasing a dedicated set of speakers for the club. We want to give a big thank you to Mark Watson for letting us borrow his speakers for the last show.
Looking Ahead: 2026-2027 Fall Show Dates
Being the planners we are, we’ve reserved our club show dates at CRC for the fall of our 2026-2027 season. Mark your calendars for:
- September 26 & 27
- October 17 & 18
- December 5
A Quick Parking Reminder
To keep our riders and horses safe, please remember:
- No parking in the center/trailer area until after 9:00 AM.
- Even after 9:00 AM, please ensure you park at least 15 feet away from any trailers. This ensures horses have enough space to move safely and prevents any accidental crowding.
