Most of our focus right now is on the Mudslingers Summer Showdown. But first, an update regarding the June 7 show:

We’ll be offering three set-ups at the June 7 show for those pursuing times for their Excellence Awards.

These include:

  • Keyhole
  • Speed Ball
  • Speed Barrels

Please contact our show secretary if you’d like to participate in one or more set-ups. Each set-up costs $5.

Summer Showdown Updates

First we want to acknowledge that we’ve been blown away by the response from sponsors and hope that some will join us to present awards at the show. 

Next is a summary of some important updates for those attending the Summer Showdown.

  • Registration is still open, so please register if you’re planning on attending.
  • We will place our t-shirt order on Saturday, May 31, so if you’d like to order a Summer Showdown t-shirt, this is another reason to register now. We’re not planning on ordering t-shirts for general sale at the show.
  • We’re opening up the show to riders who’d like to ride one or two days of the three-day show. Please click here to register.
  • Wondering if you already registered? Here’s a list of riders (and t-shirt orders). Below the rider list/rider order, you’ll see a list of stalls and RV sites. We’ll continue to update this page every few days as we receive registrations, reservations, payments and stall assignments.
  • We have closed the flag sponsorship. With the U.S., California and Mudslingers flags plus sponsor flags, we’re already at 14 flags and don’t think we’ll be able to accommodate more. Thank you to our sponsors!
  • Please consider trying out to be a flag carrier! We’ll have tryouts after the June 7 show at CRC and at 2 pm on June 8 at Sundance Hills Equestrian Center. We request that all SHEC riders try out on Sunday so we can keep Saturday’s tryouts moving and not delay awards.
  • We’ll be hosting a Raffle/Silent Auction Basket-making event at Christine’s house in Bonsall on Sunday afternoon, June 22nd from 3 to 6 pm. Christine will offer refreshments and will have baskets and basket-making materials. Please let us know if you’d like to participate.
  • Please also send in your donations, whether it’s cash or goods. We’re keeping a record of donations so that we can give five raffle tickets (worth $25) to those who contribute.

May Show Wrap-up

Our May show offered a rare combination of a new arena, strong winds and bison–not our usual show. But congrats to those who achieved personal records; we had a couple of riders come close (hundredths of a second) to beating arena records. Thanks also to our judges: Andrea, Carrie, Marty and Travis.
