The board met last Wednesday morning to review the November two-day show and make plans for upcoming events, including the December show. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the two-day show so enjoyable, including Lauren as volunteer coordinator, Julia and Ruth as our show secretary team, and Carrie for her Hobby Horse Race idea! A big shout-out also to the Watson family for sponsoring our beautiful buckles! We’ve ordered all customized buckles and can’t wait to see them.
Division AA Update
With so many riders bumping up a division at the November show (congratulations!), the board discussed splitting Division AA for the December show, even though we typically require three full shows of 13 or more riders in a division before splitting. We agreed that if we have 13 or more AA riders register for December, we’ll officially split the division prior to the show and have prizes ready for all seven divisions. We’ve already ordered prizes for seven divisions in anticipation of this happening!
YETI Fundraiser
We’re happy to report that we’ve raised enough to cover the cost of the YETI set that we’re raffling; now everything we raise will go directly to the club. Please reach out to Mila if you’d like to buy raffle tickets and invite your friends to buy some too! This is an incredible raffle prize, worth $1,000, consisting of two YETI camp chairs, one Roadie 24 cooler and two YETI water bottles. Tickets are $10 for one ticket or $40 for five tickets. We’ll announce the winner at our December 7 show and you don’t need to be present to win. If the show is canceled due to weather, we’ll do a Facebook Live drawing.
