Congratulations, riders! We kicked off our first multi-day show of the season with big achievements across the board. Seven riders advanced divisions, we logged one AAA+ time and three riders set four new arena records. Below you’ll find all the details, plus important board updates and club news.
Board Update: Division A Age Split
- To better balance competition, Division A will now be split into ages 12 & Under and 13 & Over.
- We’ll continue to monitor division sizes. If we have more than 28 riders in Division A across three consecutive shows, we will split Division A into three groups.
- For context, if we count riders who bumped, our last show had 22 riders across both A divisions.

Equipment Trailer and Speakers Update
We’re planning two new purchases. First, we’re taking advantage of Black Friday sales to purchase our own set of speakers to make it easier for riders and spectators to hear the announcers.
In addition, we plan to purchase a new (used) 12- to 14-foot equipment trailer and sell our current 16-foot trailer, which carries an unused shower, fridge and bed. Once the upgrade is finalized, we’ll invite everyone to help clear out the old trailer and move items into the new one. This will, of course, earn you volunteer hours.
Speaking of volunteer hours, the latest hours have posted. To understand where you stand, divide the total number of hours by the number of shows in which you have participated. We’ve had three shows this season (1 in September and 2 in November — the two-day show counts as 2 shows). Once divided, you should have 2 or more volunteer shifts per show logged. For example, if you rode in all shows and have 9 volunteer credits, your average per show would be 3, which is more than the 2/show you need to qualify for year-end awards.
